SmartOps Panel: The Operator Console for Nice Infotech's Smart City CMS
SmartOps Panel (internally the "SmartOps Panel") is the
operator-facing web console for Nice Infotech's Smart City CMS,
built for monitoring and controlling Smart Pole-mounted devices —
VMD screens, ECB/PAS intercom & PA speakers, and PTZ cameras —
alongside the city's Smart Bin sensor network. It is a pure React
frontend backed by the apigateway Spring Boot API and
the smartbin-backend service, currently powering the
Shillong Smart City deployment.
- Smart Pole Inventory & Live Map – Pole groups on a live map with colored/grouped markers and click-through device detail popups.
- Per-Pole Device Summary – VMD / ECB / PAS / PTZ camera / WiFi status at a glance for every pole.
- VMD Screen Control – Search/register displays by IP or IP range, power on/off, reboot, and brightness control.
- Playlist Publishing & VMD Tiles – Create and publish programs, plus a grid view of every VMD device with on-demand screenshots.
- ECB/PAS Intercom & PA – Group creation, audio upload, and announcement scheduling or quick-play.
- ECB/PAS Tiles – Grid view of every device with extension, IP, and live status.
- Dual PTZ Camera Systems – A legacy joystick-controlled module plus Smart Pole-mounted ONVIF and XMeye/Sofia firmware cameras.
- Live PTZ Control – HLS live view (SD by default, switchable to HD) with on-screen pan/tilt/zoom/focus/ preset controls and snapshot capture.
- Smart Bin Monitoring – Fill level, battery, temperature, and signal strength per bin, with fire/fall/full/ battery-low alarms.
- Bin Map & Filters – Color-coded markers, quick filter capsules, a searchable device list, and RFID tagging.
- Uptime/Downtime Dashboards – Per-service trend charts by category or device, plus a Reports page with PDF/CSV export.
- Secure, Real-Time Platform – JWT auth with refresh-token rotation, service-level access control, and Server-Sent Events for live updates.
